A new clinic
for Oral Surgery in Leiden

All specialists working there are BIG-registered Oral, Maxillofacial and Maxillofacial Surgeons (more commonly known as “Oral Surgeons”) with prior training as doctors and dentists. The founders of the new clinic also work at LUMC (Leiden University Medical Centre).

Given the long waiting times for outpatient/small-jaw surgery in hospital, we conceived the idea of offering these treatments in a clinic outside the academic centre. Many pain and/or emergency complaints can be resolved quickly and easily, and at Brevias, patients can usually be seen on referral the same working day.

We believe that, especially for people who are reluctant to undergo oral surgery treatment, it is more pleasant to be treated outside the hospital environment, but of course in an environment that meets all quality requirements and conditions. In our small-scale clinic, we try to create a calm treatment atmosphere where consultations and treatments are carried out in a modern environment with good service by experienced practitioners and where the latest techniques and state-of-the-art equipment are used.

With its proximity to LUMC and cooperation with the MKA surgeons also working there, there is also an easy referral route to the hospital if needed.
